
LeBron James said every stop in his basketball journey has ended with a championship, from little league through middle school, high school, and into the pros. He said thatâs why being the winningest player in NBA history is a reflection of his whole path.
LeBron James credited his coaches, teammates, and entire journey for his success. He specifically said his little league coaches taught him to play the game the right way, and that he never let other peopleâs narratives change how he was taught.
LeBron James: âEvery stop in my basketball journey has resulted in a championship, from the little leagues to middle school to high school. And in the pros, Iâve always won. I wouldnât say it was light work, but it could feel that way at times. So to hear that Iâm the winningest player in NBA history, itâs really a shoutout to all my coaches, all my teammates, and the whole journey. My little league coaches literally taught me how to play the game the right way, and I never let the narrative, or whatever people thought about how I should play or what I should do, change how I was taught.
