Leeds United considered selling Pascal Struijk last June but ultimately kept him due to his importance to the team. They received a significant offer for him in August 2025 but chose to retain him as they aim to maintain their Premier League status.
Leeds United may have entertained selling Pascal Struijk last June
Leeds United received an offer for Pascal Struijk in late August 2025 and it was the kind of sum which may have been entertained in June, according to The Athletic. However, Leeds felt Struijk was too important to lose at the 11th hour and he remained at the Elland Road club. The 26-year-old has been a key player under Whites manager Daniel Farke, featuring in 32 Premier League games for the west Yorkshire club so far. Leeds have held on to their Premier League status despite flirting with relegation for a large chunk of the season.
However, their recruitment team has been hurt by the fact that they missed out on Fulham star Harry Wilson. The 29-year-old was the club’s main target on summer transfer deadline day, but the Craven Cottagers refused to sell him, which was tough for Leeds to swallow. Wilson has ten goals and six assists in 34 league games so far, and only six players in the Premier League have been directly involved in more goals this term. The Whites have taken heart in the fact that they were pursuing the right player and it remains to be seen whether they have plans to go back for him the summer.

Wilson will be a free agent at the end of the season and many suitors are currently monitoring his situation. He could have been a Leeds player as the club reportedly put a private jet on standby to transport the Fulham attacker to Yorkshire on summer transfer deadline day.
They met his club’s quoted asking price but Fulham pulled the plug on the deal after they failed to get Chelsea forward Tyrique George as his replacement. Leeds had tabled an improved offer to sign him after the Craven Cottage club indicated that they wanted to renegotiate the terms.
An agreement was reached, leading to a proposed Deal Sheet getting signed by Leeds and Wilson. However, Fulham told the Whites that the transfer was off a few minutes to the 7pm deadline as they wanted to sign a replacement first before allowing him leave.
