Leeds United Want €10–12M For Their 25-Year-Old: Does It Make Sense In The Long-Term?
Leeds United are set to lose Largie Ramazani this summer, with Valencia working actively to secure a permanent deal for the Belgian winger before the new season begins. Spanish publication AS reported this week that Valencia’s CEO Ron Gourlay has already contacted Leeds United directly to discuss financial terms, while Marca confirmed that Daniel Farke’s side want a full sale rather than another temporary arrangement. Radio Marca Valencia added that Leeds United have told agents and intermediaries they expect €10–12 million for the 25-year-old, whose contract at Elland Road runs through 2028.
Ramazani joined Leeds United from UD Almería in August 2024, then headed back to Spain last summer on loan to Valencia. The first half of the season proved difficult after an injury disrupted his rhythm. From January onwards, though, the winger turned his campaign around sharply, scoring all six of his goals in 2025 across 22 La Liga appearances.
He chipped in with two assists alongside those goals in a total of 1,074 minutes. Speaking earlier this week, Ramazani said he plans to assess his future at the end of the season before deciding his next move. Valencia, having no purchase clause in the existing agreement, must now negotiate fresh terms with Leeds United entirely from scratch. (Via Sport Witness)
Leeds United is looking for €10–12 million for Largie Ramazani as they prefer a full sale rather than another loan arrangement with Valencia.
Largie Ramazani had a challenging start to the season due to injury but rebounded strongly, scoring six goals in 22 La Liga appearances in the second half of the season.
Largie Ramazani's contract with Leeds United runs through 2028, which gives the club leverage in negotiations for his transfer.

This is the big question, and the answer is a bit of a mixed bag. Ramazani clearly has quality, as evidenced by his six goals from limited starting time in La Liga, a league where English clubs often struggle to adapt, which shows he can handle himself in tight spaces.
His injury record is the main worry, though, and the fact that half his season went nowhere because of fitness problems is a fair reason to be cautious about his long-term value. Transfermarkt currently values Ramazani at €8 million, making Leeds United’s reported €10–12 million ask a bit of a big amount, especially for a player with only 10 La Liga starts to his name this term.
From a Leeds United perspective, accepting around €10 million for a winger who has never really managed to lock down a starting spot at the club makes sense. The Whites are building towards Premier League consolidation and need to make sure their funds are working efficiently. Holding out for a figure that an unnamed Italian club already rejected seems a bit stubborn. If Valencia blink first and meet the asking price, Leeds United should take the money and put it back into the squad where depth is actually needed.
