Reports are now indicating that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to send A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots after June 1.
While a deal seems to be in place, it's never out of the question to suggest that another team could swoop in and give the Eagles more of what they're looking for. There hasn't been a reported package for the Patriots, though the expectation is that Brown will still go for a somewhat hefty price.
He might not be as expensive as he once was, but he's still an elite receiver and would be a big help for nearly every contending team in the NFL.
In a recent proposal in a deal to send him to the Detroit Lions, however, this is the type of trade that could entice Philadelphia more than what the Patriots might be willing to give them. Getting two first-round picks back, including a first-rounder, would be a great deal for the Eagles.
