A total of 208 drivers have been verified for the second round of the Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy, which takes place at Germanyâs Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf circuit this weekend.
With the grid split across Senior Max (90), Junior Max (47), Mini Max (35) and DD2/DD2 Masters (36), there is, once again, a strong turnout for the Euro Trophy. More than 35 nations are represented on the grid in Germany.
Mini Max
In Mini Max, the German round will award a ticket to the 2026 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, adding further importance to the category. In the previous round at Cremona, the first ticket of the season was secured by Joshua Cooke (KR Sport).
Senior Max
The championship picture remains wide open following the unusual Final in Cremona. At this stage, it is still effectively âzero to zeroâ among the main contenders. Nik Trobec (KSB Racing) leads the standings after capitalising on the changing weather conditions in Italy, ahead of Bran Vanderveken (Bouvin Power) and Tom Langlois (GKart53). With the margins still minimal, Wackersdorf could mark the first real shift in the title fight.
Junior Max
Just four points separate the top four drivers, making this one of the tightest classifications in the field. It is currently a Dan Holland Racing top four lockout, with Zdenek Babicek leading on 153 points, followed closely by Emerson MacandrewUren on 151, Albert Friend on 150 and Rares Pascu on 149. With such narrow gaps, every heat and final result in Wackersdorf will be decisive.
DD2 / DD2 Masters
In DD2, Michael Rosina (MKC Motorsport) arrives in Germany as championship leader after converting his Cremona victory into points advantage. He is followed by reigning champion Jakub Bezel (Kraft Motorsport) and fellow Italian Leonardo Baccaglini (Schepers Racing). In DD2 Masters, Nicolas Picot (Privateer) once again leads the standings, confirming his consistency at the front of the category.
Mini Max
Attention also turns to the fight for the second Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals ticket of the season. In Cremona, it was Joshua Cooke (KR Sport) who secured the first spot after a close battle with teammate Logan Rolfe and Charlie Page (Privateer).
The Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf is widely regarded as one of the reference circuits in Germany. Measuring 1190 metres in length and varying between nine and 12 metres in width, the track features seven right-hand corners and four left-hand corners, placing a strong emphasis on precision, rhythm and consistency.
Its CIK-FIA homologation ensures compliance with the highest international standards, making it a regular host for top-level competitions.
In addition to the technical challenge on track, the venue offers extensive infrastructure for teams and competitors, including dedicated paddock areas, technical facilities and full logistical support. These features have established Wackersdorf as a key destination for karting teams from across Germany and Europe.
With a strong entry list and a technically demanding layout, Round 2 of the Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy is set to deliver another highly competitive chapter in the 2026 season.
8:45 AM Warm-up; Live on TV and Live Streaming from 10:20 AM for Pre-finals and 1:40 PM for Finals (DD2-Masters at 1:40 PM, Mini MAX at 2:10 PM, Junior MAX at 2:40 PM, Senior MAX at 3:10 PM).
On Sunday, 3 May, the Pre-finals and Finals will be broadcasted live on TV through Live Streaming on Motorsport.com, Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy's Facebook page, RMCET website, and YouTube.
