Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) is holding its open workouts this afternoon (Weds., May 13, 2026) LIVE at 9 p.m. ET on the Venice Beach Basketball Courts located at Ocean Front Walk in Venice. Today’s fan-friendly festivities are being held in advance of the “Rousey vs. Carano” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for this Sat. night (May 16, 2026) at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, streaming LIVE on Netflix.
The open workouts are free to the public but it’s first come, first served — so get there early.
Expected to be in attendance (and getting sweaty) are event headliners Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, as well as Francis Ngannou and Philipe Lins, who throw hands on the MVP MMA fight card (see it here). Also lacing up the gloves will be welterweight rivals (and UFC veterans) .
The open workout event is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on May 13, 2026.
The open workout will be held at the Venice Beach Basketball Courts located at Ocean Front Walk in Venice.
Expected attendees include Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Francis Ngannou, Nate Diaz, and Mike Perry.

“I do believe her — I hope we can change her mind but I do believe her,” MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian told The Ariel Helwani Show regarding Rousey’s vow to retire (again) after fighting Carano. “I mean look, if she wins or Gina wins, we obviously promote Holly Holm and that would be a dream fight for us to see either of them fight Holly. But, it’s ultimately up to them. Fighters have to want to make the fight.”
