Liverpool close to agreeing sensational transfer with next Mo Salah
Liverpool are close to agreeing a sensational transfer for the next Mo Salah.
The Egyptian King looks set to move on this summer, with Liverpool agreeing what feels like a remarkable parting of ways as Mohamed Salah prepares for a new chapter.
As for where heāll go next, itās still up in the air. Even Salah may not have made a final decision yet. Whatās clear, though, is that he still has plenty to offer at the very top level, so staying in Europe for a while longer wouldnāt be a surprise.
Salah leaves behind an incredible legacy at Anfield. Heās not just a club icon, heās still one of the best players in the world. Replacing him wonāt just be difficult, itāll be pretty much impossible.
Thereās simply no one out there who can step straight in and do what heās done.
That said, Liverpool are still going to have to bring someone in who can play as a right-winger and become their next Salah so to speak at least in the literal sense of replacing him positionally.
Well, who could that player be? There's only one obvious solution. And it's so obvious.
His name is Yan Diomande. He's fast, lightning fast and one of the best dribblers in Europe's top five leagues and he's only 19-years-old.
Ever since the Ivorian teenager confessed his admiration for the Reds, he's been on the lips of everyone.
Diomande's come and get me plea, has catapulted him to the top of the wishlist of the supporters at Anfield. And he is Liverpool's top target to replace Salah.
It's easy to see why.
Richard Hughes knows him from his time at Bournemouth, where Diomande went on trial before joining Leganes, and Liverpool need exactly the type of player he is.
Diomande is direct, he's good in one vs one situations and he is extremely quick.
He can play on the right, he can play on the left-wing. Having that versatility and being comfortable with both feet really makes him standout as the ultimate candidate.
And we've seen a great amount of players make the path from Red Bull to Anfield - from Sadio Mane to Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool is close to finalizing a transfer deal for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
While Salah's next destination is still uncertain, it is anticipated that he may remain in Europe for his next chapter.
Salah's departure appears to be part of a significant transition for the club, as he prepares for a new chapter in his career.
