Rafael Leao, 26, could be allowed to leave AC Milan this summer with only two years left on his current contract. The Portuguese wide man has been at San Siro since 2019 - clinching a Serie A title in 2022- but now looks set to move on to pastures new.
Leao hasn’t had the greatest of seasons at club level amid reports of a fallout with manager Max Allegri.
He’s still managed nine goals and three assists in 27 Italian league appearances.
Crucially he comes with versatility.
Leao can play most naturally as a left-winger but has also featured as a second striker as well as in a front two under Allegri.
Liverpool would have to fight off interest from both Manchester clubs as well as Real Madrid to land Leao - who will be available for £60m.

“AC Milan star Rafael Leao is attracting interest from Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid as they explore a potential summer move for the Portugal international,” the report reads.
“Milan are understood to be open to offers for a number of their top players as they look to balance the books and work within financial guidelines. And Leao could depart for around £60million.”
