Katherine Lockamy scored off a corner kick by Victoria Lockamy in the opening minutes of the match. Victoria Lockamy extended the lead later in the half when her corner kick deflected in off the defense.
Carmen DiFoggio made five saves in goal for the Grizzlies (11-2-2 overall, 4-1 conference), who completed their first run through conference play just one game behind unbeaten Mount Tabor.
WESTCHESTER COUNTRY DAY, N. HILLS CHRISTIAN
HIGH POINT β Westchester Country Day won 3-1 against North Hills Christian in nonconference girls soccer Monday at Westchester.
Evans Elliott scored two goals for the Wildcats (4-7). Morgan Cargal also scored a goal off an assist by Lentel Dehouwer.

WINSTON-SALEM β Southwest Guilford narrowly lost 1-0 against state power RJ Reynolds in nonconference girls soccer Monday at Reynolds. The Cowgirls dipped to 7-6-1 overall.

HIGH POINT β High Point Christian lost 7-0 against Caldwell in PTAC girls soccer Monday at Correll-Morris Field. The Cougars moved to 2-11 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
TRINITY, EAST DAVIDSON
THOMASVILLE β Trinity defeated East Davidson 2-0 in Central Carolina 3A Conference girls soccer Monday at Brown Middle.
The Bulldogs improved to 9-1-4 overall and 4-1-1 in the conference, while the Golden Eagles dipped to 7-7 and 1-5.
RAGSDALE, SOUTHERN GUILFORD
JAMESTOWN β Ragsdale rolled past Southern Guilford 9-0 in nonconference girls soccer Monday at Ragsdale.
Micah Moody scored four goals for the Tigers. Gabby Graham added three goals and an assist, while Bailey Glasgow had a goal and an assist. Holden Brewer scored one goal.
Jacquelyn Shaner added two assists, while Emerson Everhart, Peighton Hanson and Emma Hansen each had an assist. Mara Cothran and Marley Clark shared time in goal.
Ragsdale improved to 9-3 while the Storm dipped to 2-10-2.
WHEATMORE, THOMASVILLE
THOMASVILLE β Wheatmore beat Thomasville 9-0 in Central Carolina 3A Conference girls soccer Monday at Thomasville.
Jocelyn McDowell scored four goals to lead the Warriors, while Hallie Myer added two and Alexis Holifield had a goal and an assist. Kayla Rosenbaum and Emmie Messner each had a goal. Abby Stepp and Nora Partin each had an assist. Kinsley Davis made two saves in goal.
Wheatmore improved to 9-5 overall and 6-0 in the conference, while the Bulldogs moved to 2-12-1 and 0-6.

HIGH POINT β TW Andrews lost 20-4 against Atkins in PAC Seven 4A/5A softball Monday at Montlieu Academy of Technology. The Lady Raiders moved to 0-9 overall and 0-7 in the conference.
Oak Grove won the match against North Davidson with a score of 2-0.
Katherine Lockamy and Victoria Lockamy scored the goals for Oak Grove.
Carmen DiFoggio made five saves during the match.
After the match, Oak Grove's overall record is 11-2-2.

ASHEBORO β High Point Christian raced past Uwharrie Charter 14-1 in five innings Monday in nonconference softball at Uwharrie.
Kerri Langfitt had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs for the Cougars (16-2). Allie Winfree, who doubled, and Blakely Bowman each had three hits and an RBI, while Hailey Allred had two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs. Chloe Overstreet and Landyn Smith each added a hit and two RBIs.
Paisley Dixon earned the pitching win, striking out two of three in one perfect inning. Bella Dill added two strikeouts while allowing just two hits and one walk in four innings.
WESLEYAN CHRISTIAN, CHAPEL HILL
HIGH POINT β Wesleyan Christian lost 13-3 against Chapel Hill in nonconference softball Monday at Wesleyan's Sandy Ridge field.
Maris Morgan, Hope Gallagher and Carlyn McKinney, who tripled, each had a hit and an RBI for the Trojans (5-10). Ella Joyce chipped in an RBI. Morgan struck out four in 4 2/3 innings in the circle.

MOCKSVILLE β Southwest Guilford won 5-3 against Davie County in nonconference girls lacrosse Monday at Davie.
Rylee Wexler had four goals and an assist for the Cowgirls (6-8), while Alderman had a goal and three assists. Ashleigh Lyles made eight saves in goal.

GREENSBORO β Bishop McGuinness tied for second in Monday's Greater Triad 1A/2A Conference boys golf match at Grandover Resort.

Grimsley won with a team score of 153, trailed by Page (160), Southwest (173), Ragsdale (197) and Dudley (222).

DENTON β Oak Grove's Hunter Creech won a trio of county titles to highlight Monday's Davidson County track and field championships at South Davidson.
Creech won the boys 400 (50.65), the boys 800 (2:01.36) and the boys 1600 (4:34.32). Emma Hadley added two titles, winning the girls discus (109-7.00) and the girls shot put (34-5.50).

BASKETBALL ADDS ANOTHER TRANSFER
HIGH POINT β High Point University has received another men's basketball transfer β Liam Campbell from Saint Mary's College.
Campbell is a 6-foot-4 guard from Meridian, Idaho. He spent two years at Saint Mary's β not playing as a freshman and using a redshirt year, then averaging 4.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game this year.
He joins a transfer class that includes guard CJ Brown from USF, guard Jason Rivera-Torres from Monmouth, forward Isaac Garrett from Oakland and forward Frankquon Sherman from Kennesaw State.
With the transfer portal closing Tuesday night, Rob Martin, Vincent Brady and Youssouf Singare have opted to enter the portal, while Cam'Ron Fletcher announced his intention to stay another year.
The Panthers went 31-5 overall β the most wins in program history β and 15-1 in the Big South Conference. They captured their third straight regular-season and second straight conference tournament titles
High Point upset fifth-seeded Wisconsin won in the first round of the NCAA Tournament for the program's first-ever tournament win.
PANTHERS TO HOST WASHINGTON STATE
HIGH POINT β High Point University men's basketball will host a Power 4 matchup in the Qubein Center for the first time.
The Panthers will welcome Washington State from the PAC-12 on Saturday, Nov. 7, during homecoming weekend.
This will be the second-ever home game against a Power Four team since becoming Division I β Wake Forest played in the Millis Center in 2011.
Washington State went 12-20 this season and 7-11 in the conference.
MULLIKIN EARNS LACROSSE HONOR
CHARLOTTE β For the second straight week, High Point University's Anna Mullikin has been named the Big South Conference Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Week.
Mullikin recorded another seven draw controls against East Carolina, tying a career high. She scored two goals while setting a new career-high five points and three caused turnovers in the same game. Her three assists in the game also marked a new collegiate high.
