The Longhorns have offered four-star OT Caleb Siler for their 2027 recruiting class, competing against top programs. Siler, currently ranked 75th among offensive tackles, has received 29 D1 offers and has no commitment date set.
As Longhorns football looks to add to its 2027 class, they have entered the recruiting battle for one of the best prospects on the board in Caleb Siler. The Longhorns offered the four-star recruit last week and are now competing with some of the top programs in the nation. While Texas has its work cut out for it, Siler is an exciting talent.
During the recruiting process, Siler has received offers from Northwestern, South Carolina, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Michigan State, Stanford, SMU, and Oregon State. With no commitment date set, that list could continue to grow. The heavy interest comes as no surprise given how the Longhorns' target is viewed by scouts.

Currently, Siler is ranked as the 75th best offensive tackle in his class by 247Sports. They also rank the Gunter High star as the 118th best player from Texas. With one year left in his high school career, Siler still has time to raise his stock as he weighs his best options for the future.
If Siler were to commit to the Longhorns, he would be part of a class that is currently ranked 18th in the nation. Head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have secured commitments from four-star recruits, including Easton Royal, Cameron Hall, Derwin Fields, and Karnell James. They will be joined by three-star recruits such as Noah Roberts, Cade Haug, and Ty Knutson.

At the moment, the Longhorns 2027 offensive line only features two commits in Keyon Hemphill-Woods and Jackson Cook. That is partly why adding Siler to the mix would be a major boost. He is expected to be on campus for a visit next month, which will give the Longhorns a chance to build on their recent momentum.
If Sarkisian can make Siler an offer he can't refuse, then the offense will be in good hands.
