Adrian Wooley will run it back for another season with Louisville basketball.
The 6-foot-4 sophomore guard from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, plans to return for Year 3 of the Pat Kelsey era, the program announced on Saturday.
Wooley transferred from Kennesaw State to UofL as 247Sports.com's ninth-best player in the 2025 portal cycle. He was one of four Louisville players to appear in every game this past season, averaging 22.5 minutes per appearance (16 starts â typically, in relief of freshman point guard Mikel Brown Jr., who missed 14 games due to a back injury).
Wooley's final stat line: 8.7 points on 45% shooting (35% from 3), 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists (vs. 1.1 turnovers).
His best game: 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting (3 for 7 from 3), four rebounds and two assists across 28 minutes of a Dec. 30 win at California.
His biggest moment: 15 points, including a go-ahead stepback dagger with 18 seconds remaining in regulation, six assists and four rebounds across 28 minutes of a March 7 win at Miami.

"He's got a grit and a toughness and a competitiveness about him that I love," Kelsey told reporters before the season tipped off.
In January, reflecting on his decision to join the Cards, Wooley told The Courier Journal, "I feel like I could thrive here (and) try to be the best version of myself." In the locker room at KeyBank Center, after UofL's season-ending loss to Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament, he said, "I definitely will come back next year."
"Once I become a vocal leader, I'll be able to take my game to the next level," Wooley said in January. "However much time it takes, I'm willing to take (it)."
