Louisville softball has earned an NCAA Tournament berth as a No. 8 seed and is headed to the Lincoln Regional, hosted by top-seeded Nebraska.
The Cardinals (44-12) will face Grand Canyon (52-8), the Mountain West Conference champions, on Friday, May 15 at 4 p.m. ET.
No. 1-seed Nebraska (46-6, seeded No. 4 overall) and South Dakota (20-34-1) will play in the other double-elimination game at roughly 6:30 p.m. ET.
This Louisville's 16th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and first since 2023.

Louisville enters the NCAA Tournament 44-12 overall and finished 18-6 in regular-season conference play. The Cardinals fell to Stanford in eight innings in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.
Grand Canyon is 52-8 overall and went 21-4 in Mountain West play. The Antelopes earned an automatic NCAA Tournament bid after sweeping Nevada in a doubleheader during the best-of-three conference championship series.
Super Regionals is a best-of-three series that will take place from Thursday, May 21, to Sunday, May 24. The winner of the Lincoln Regional would face the winner of the Stillwater Regional, which is hosted by No. 13 overall seed Oklahoma State.
If a top-eight seed loses their regional, the team that advances from their bracket will host the Super Regional instead, provided they meet NCAA facility and bidding requirements.
The Women's College World Series will take place from Thursday, May 28, to Friday, June 5, at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
