The defender was sent off after conceding a penalty in the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, and has been given an extra one-game ban for comments he is alleged to have made to the fourth official Matt Donohue.
Donohue claimed: âAs Maguire was leaving the field of play, he approached me and shouted âYouâre a joke. Youâre all a ******* joke'â.
Maguire, meanwhile, gave his account of the incident: âAs I left the field of play following my dismissal I said something along the lines of âit is a ******** jokeâ.
