Majestoso: Social media rage over obscene gesture, Daronco explains

At Neo Química Arena, Corinthians are leading São Paulo 3-1 this Sunday (10), in the 15th round of the 2026 Brasileirão.

The opening half of the Majestoso was lively.

Once things had calmed down, referee Anderson Daronco was called by VAR to review a possible "obscene gesture" by Bobadilla during São Paulo’s goal celebration.

After reviewing the incident, the referee from Rio Grande do Sul went to the center of the pitch to announce that there had been no obscene gesture: "He does not touch his genitals."
