Barcelona's preparations for their La Liga match against Osasuna receive a boost as three injured players return to group training. The team aims to maintain their lead in the league with a win on Saturday.
Major boost for Barcelona as three injured stars resume group training
After a couple of days’ break following their 2-0 win over Getafe, FC Barcelona resumed training today as preparations got underway for their upcoming La Liga game.
The reigning champions and current league leaders face CA Osasuna on Saturday away at El Sadar, and a victory would take them closer to lifting the title.
And, according to Mundo Deportivo, Hansi Flick has received a timely boost as Barcelona have recovered three injured players, who have resumed training with the group.
Indeed, Raphinha, Marc Bernal, and Andreas Christensen are all back working with the group ahead of the weekend clash against Osasuna.
Bernal suffered a sprain in his left ankle a month ago during the La Liga match against Atletico Madrid, but his recovery has progressed well.
The article does not specify the names of the three injured players who returned to training.
Barcelona's next La Liga match is scheduled for Saturday against CA Osasuna.
A victory against Osasuna would bring Barcelona closer to lifting the La Liga title as they are currently the league leaders.

Meanwhile, Raphinha is recovering from a hamstring injury in his right leg sustained while on international duty with the Brazil national football team last month. This week marks five weeks since the injury, and the plan was for him to rejoin group training now.
Now, both Bernal and Raphinha have returned to training with the group and are working towards making their comebacks.
Flick’s plan is for them to be available for the Osasuna match and also gain minutes ahead of the Clasico on 10 May at the Spotify Camp Nou. But no unnecessary risks will be taken.
Christensen, meanwhile, has been sidelined since December with a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
His comeback in training suggests there remains a slight possibility that he could feature again before the end of the season, although a return against Osasuna is unlikely.
