His current contract at Ajax will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Man City to snap him up on the cheap this off-season.

Godts is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some meaningful openings for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
The Dutch sensation can chip in by scoring and creating a lot of important goals for his team from the flanks. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Man City manage to bring him on board this summer.
Godts would undoubtedly improve the quality of Pep Guardiola’s frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to compete for a regular place in Man City’s match-day squad.
At 20, Godts has the potential to be a world-class winger someday. Thus, the Mancunian giants should focus on signing him soon. Godts is a prospect to watch out for in the long run and could help Man City compete for a lot of major honours over the next decade.
