Now, according to the Manchester Evening News’ Simon Bajkowski, the Etihad Stadium will be renamed ‘The City in the Community Etihad Stadium’ for the weekend’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Brentford.

The move is part of ongoing recognition for the club’s official charity, with CITC visible around the game in a number of ways, including players walking out in jackets with the charity’s branding, Ruben Dias voicing travel announcements for buses and trams, and player graphics on social media drawn by local schoolchildren.
