Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams has impressed this season, earning many plaudits and also the admiration of several Premier League clubs.

The club are attempting to keep the Welshman at the City Ground by tying him down with a new deal, but United and Everton are among the clubs who have enquired about his availability.

That’s according to a new report from BBC Sport that claims that Forest have opened talks with the 25-year-old's representatives amid growing interest from Premier League rivals.

Aston Villa and Newcastle are also named as potential suitors for the fullback, who left Liverpool for £16 million in 2022.

Williams is valued at €24.7 million (~£21.5m) by FootballTransfers, but Forest would likely demand a higher fee to sell to a Premier League rival.

Liverpool face a tough task to get back above Manchester United next season, and that job will be even harder if the ex-Red heads to Old Trafford.
