Manchester United are ‘more likely’ to pursue a move for Nottingham Forest defender Murillo than Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi.
It was revealed earlier this week that Manchester United were monitoring the situation of Senesi, alongside Bournemouth teammate Eli Kroupi Junior. Senesi’s contract is set to expire in the summer and he is attracting interest as a free agent.
According to the iPaper, United are ‘keeping tabs’ on the situation but are not expected to move for Senesi at this stage. The Red Devils are focused on younger reinforcements, with Senesi set to turn 29 next month.
Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo is viewed as a more likely target. The Brazilian has impressed the club’s recruitment team and fits the model as a Premier League proven talent with room to grow.
The 23-year-old is closing in on a century of Premier League appearances for Forest and made his senior Brazil debut last year.
