Mark Andrews revealed he learned about John Harbaugh's dismissal during a team Zoom call. He expressed deep respect and affection for Harbaugh, highlighting their long-standing relationship.
Ravens tight end Mark Andrews said he learned of former head coach John Harbaugh's dismissal during a team Zoom meeting, the same way many others first received the news, and reflected on his long relationship with the coach.
“Yeah, it’s a great question. I found out probably just like everybody else; there was like a Zoom meeting and stuff like that. But yes, that’s really how I found out. Just my reaction is that thinking about [former Ravens head] ‘Coach Harbs’ [John Harbaugh] and everything that we’ve done and been through and the type of person that he is, you have to recognize and respect that. I will forever have love and respect for him, and he’s someone I can call at any time and just talk to, because that’s the type of person that he is. And I have a lot of love for him.”
Andrews, one of the longest-tenured players in Baltimore's offense under Harbaugh, has been a key part of the team's core throughout the coach's tenure and has maintained a close relationship with him off the field.
