UFC Winnipeg went down last night (Sat., April 18, 2026) inside Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, which saw Mike Malott secure a stunning stoppage victory over Gilbert Burns in the third round of their Welterweight headliner (see it again here). In the co-main event, Charles Jourdain defeated Kyler Phillips via unanimous decision, while Jai Herbert knocked out Mandel Nallo in the first round after enduring an early blitz (highlights here).
Winner: Mike Malott

Malott could likely end up in the No. 11 spot following his win over Burns, so a fight against Medic (No. 13) sounds like a “Proper” next step. Medic is coming off a first round knockout win over Geoff Neal a few months ago (highlights), putting him at three straight wins. Malott is currently riding a four-fight win streak, so this battle will let us know who is ready to face Top 10-seeded fighters in the division.
Winner: Charles Jourdain
Who He Should Face Next: Cody Garbrandt
Jourdain increased his win streak to three in a row following his unanimous decision win over Phillips, but I don’t think it was good enough to warrant a spot in the Top 15 — especially since he is only three fights deep into the division. A fight against former division champion, Cody Garbrandt, sounds like a fun fight all the way around. “No Love” is no longer in the Top 15, but he is coming off a win over Xiao Long. This would be a good challenge for Jourdain, and getting a win over an ex-champion would only enhance his stock.
Winner: Jai Herbert
Who He Should Face Next: Kai Kamaka III
Herbert earned himself an impressive first round knockout win over Nallo (see it here), putting him back in the win column following his loss to Chris Padilla. As for Kamaka III, he earned a win in his 155-pound debut in his UFC return, defeating Dakota Hope earlier this month. Herbert would be a nice step up in competition for Kamaka III.
Winner: Jasmine Jasudavicius
Who She Should Face Next: Rose Namajunas
Jasudavicius earned a trip back to the winner’s circle with a unanimous decision win over Karine Silva, putting her at 6-1 in her last seven fights. She is currently holding down the No. 7 spot in the women’s Flyweight division, so a fight against Namajunas (No. 6) sounds appealing. “Thug Rose” is coming off a tough loss at the hands of Natalia Silva; therefore, this would be a good challenge for her. I was also feeling a showdown between Jasudavicius versus Erin Blanchfield, but since Blanchfield is ranked No. 4, it seems she might have her sights on someone seeded ahead of her that would make more sense. For Jasudavicius, a win over a former champion like Namajunas gets her closer to the Top 5.
Winner: Gauge Young
Who He Should Face Next: Tofiq Musayev
Young was able to earn his second straight win under UFC’s banner after a hard-fought victory over Thiago Moises, winning via split decision. He is 2-1 so far in his young UFC career, so he is definitely trending upward after stumbling out of the gates in his debut. A fight against Musayev sounds appealing. While Musayev may be fairly new to UFC’s Octagon — going 1-1 and coming off a win over Ignacio Bahamondes — he has vast experience in the sport, having competed under the RIZIN and Bellator MMA umbrella’s over the last seven years.
