"Ames was a great place to build culture and team," Campbell said about Iowa State in the ESPN profile. "You certainly knew in its finest moments here at Penn State, that existed -- that culture, community, unification, everybody pulling in the same direction, when done correctly, that still could exist. I felt called to that."
Penn State should feel fortunate Campbell answered the call, even if it took a little bit longer than may have been needed to make.
