Max Eberl wonât get caught looking at the past as Bayern Munich preps for Real Madrid

In the second half of Bayern Munichâs 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, Michael Olise was hauled down in the box for what many considered to be a surefire penalty.
The whistle never blew and â it seemed â that the Bavarians were robbed of a chance to hold a two-goal advantage heading back home to the Allianz Arena for the second leg of the tie.
While fans wanted to slam the âconspiracy theory buttonâ, Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl does not want to dwell on the past and, in fact, did not fault the referee (Michael Oliver) for the lack of a call on the play.
âWe won at the BernabĂ©u for the first time in over 20 years â thatâs enough for me. Yes, that could be whistled. But overall, I thought the referee did a very, very good job,â Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Obviously, Eberl does want not want to stir anything up ahead of leg two.
