Semien hit a shot that might have been a home run on a warmer night. Finally, Nolan McLean pitched an outstanding game, going 7 innings. Hang in there, fans, we will turn this around!”
Rookie right-hander Nolen McLean has been one of the bright spots for the Mets this season, going 1-1 with a 2.28 ERA in four starts. Tuesday was the second-straight outing McLean had his outing ruined, as the bullpen gave him the loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
