The Ducks play in what is regarded as the top independent league in professional baseball, the Atlantic League.
Roselli is a familiar face to the Mets' organization -- when he has been in MLB-affiliated ball, that's the one organization he's been a part of.
He was with the Mets in Spring Training, which means he hasn't been gone long.
Last season, Roselli hit .233 at Single-A St. Lucie and then .136 at High-A Brooklyn.
He's 23 years old and can play both infield and outfield. Roselli is originally an 11th-round pick out of the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2024.
He's clearly on the fringes, but the Mets are fond enough of him to bring him back for another chance.
Now, Roselli will have to hit better than he did a season ago to stick around in the Mets' system and potentially move up the ladder.
