It’s a special, if not depressing, pastime that many of us Miami Dolphins fans sadly share. We get a new player either via free agency, trade, or the draft. We then, out of excitement for what that player is going to “finally” bring to this team that has long been missing, go out and purchase a very expensive jersey with their name and number on it. This is far too often followed by that player in disappointing fashion, despite what we were told when they were added to the roster, being cut, not being re-signed when their free agency arrives, or being traded away for a draft pick or picks that may or may not be wasted in the future.
Despite the world of disappointment that being a Dolphins fan can often be, we are always somewhat eternally hopeful for what might come next. This, of course, leads us down the path of eventually getting over the pain of what feels like wasting money on jerseys of players who are now long gone, and again shopping for and then purchasing a new player’s jersey, just knowing or at least seriously hoping that this guy will be the guy that will spend the next decade in South Florida.
So with that all in mind, this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:
What new jersey from this year’s Miami Dolphins draft class do you plan to purchase either this offseason or in the somewhat near future, and why?
