"To be honest, thereās not much we can react to. Massively disappointed, of course," he stated. "I think Iāve had a few reasons to be disappointed in a big way over those type of situations over the last couple of weeks or three weeks.
āBut obviously now weāve got to move on. The decisions have been made, itās something that weāre really disappointed with in many ways, but thatās it now. Weāve got to move on and we will do."
The manager had previously labelled the decision to send off Martinez as "one of the worst Iāve seen," and the Press Association understands United had intended to appeal the dismissal.

"Weāre obviously disappointed," Carrick reiterated. "We didnāt agree with it. I think it was pretty obvious how I felt after the game, and I still feel that way. Yeah, listen, I donāt want to go into it now. I think it is what it is.
āWeāve been hit with some decisions and, at the end of the day, now weāve got to accept it and move on, whether we like them or not." When asked directly if Martinez would feature against Chelsea, Carrick simply replied: "No."
Further defensive concerns have emerged with Leny Yoro reportedly suffering an injury, as he was not seen travelling with the squad to London on Friday. This potential setback would only deepen Carrickās defensive headache.

āKobbie, weāre working towards it. Heās done a little bit, so thereās a decision to be made there."
