New Steelers wideout Michael Pittman Jr. had a conversation with Aaron Rodgers a couple weeks back, but he didnāt ask the question on everyoneās mind.
"So I got to talk to him a couple of weeks ago, and to everybody's surprise, it was nothing about football,ā Pittman told Casino.ca on Monday. āI didn't even ask him if he was thinking about coming back, because Aaron has done everything twice. He's seen it all.
āIf he wants to come back, he's going to come back. I don't think there's anything that I can say to him where he's like, 'You know what? I think that I'll come back now.' That's just not going to happen."
Pittman, Jr. was traded from the Colts to the Steelers this offseason and could make for a lethal pass-catching duo alongside DK Metcalf, if gets competent quarterback play.

Even at age-42, Rodgers would likely give the Steelers the best chance at that. The NFL Draft begins on Thursday, and while Pittsburgh would like an answer on Rodgersā future, it seems uncertain he will be giving the team one before then.
Pittman Jr. said heās going to give Rodgers his space and allow him to make his own decision, but would love to have the four-time MVP throwing him the football in 2026.
"Just giving him his space and his time and and if he decides to come back, then that's great, we would love him back," Pittman, Jr. said. "Obviously, I think he might be the current player who's done the most in the NFL. He's a four-time MVP. I think that his resume speaks for itself, and obviously thereās his long-standing history with coach (Mike) McCarthy, so we'll see what happens."
