The firm, which vastly increased the scope of its investigation after initially being brought on to investigate what was then an alleged inappropriate relationship between Moore and former Michigan staffer Paige Shiver, looked into how the relationship was able to continue in the manner it did without oversight. That, in conjunction with several other scandals that dated to the Jim Harbaugh and Juwan Howard eras, painted a picture of a school that was not managing its culture well.
Michigan has since hired former Utah coach Kyle Whittingham to take over its football program and won a national championship under second-year men's basketball coach Dusty May.
Moore was sentenced to 18 months probation for two misdemeanors following an incident in December 2025.
