Michigan State football has extended an offer to an intriguing linebacker prospect from the Midwest.
Matthew Brady of Bloomington, Ill. announced last week that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Brady posted on his social media X account about the offer from the Spartans on Friday.
Brady is listed at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, and is rated as a three-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 85 on 247Sports. He is ranked as the No. 108 linebacker and No. 41 player from Illinois in 247Sports' composite rankings for the 2027 class.
Michigan State is one of the first power four schools to extend an offer to Brady, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Minnesota and Virginia Tech, and group of six offers from Army, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Toledo, Western Michigan and Wyoming.
