Michigan State women's basketball has secured a transfer from Anna Wypych, the 2025 Miss Basketball winner from Rockford. Wypych previously played at Butler, averaging 6.5 points and leading the team in 3-point shots made.

The Michigan State women's basketball program has landed one of the state's recent Miss Basketball winners.
Former Rockford star Anna Wypych, who spent last season at Butler, announced on Instagram plans to transfer to MSU on Wednesday, April 15.
Wypych, a 6-foot guard, appeared in 29 games and made three starts for Butler. She averaged 6.5 points and shot 37.9% from 3-point range while knocking down a team-best 39 shots from behind the arc.
The commitment of Wypych gives the Spartans the most recent Miss Basketball winners in Michigan. Howell's Lilly Williams, who won the award this season and was a McDonald's All-American, is signed and set to be one of the new additions on the Spartan roster for the 2026-27 season.
