Youssouf Fofana is having a solid season, but Milan will be open to evaluating the offers for him in the summer. He has alternated between dynamic performances to boneheaded misses in the box but has always been shielded and utilized regularly by Massimiliano Allegri.

According to Matteo Moretto (via Tribuna), the midfielder is far from untouchable. Any worthy proposal for him would be carefully weighed. He has been a regular and has posted 2 goals and 4 assists in 30 games across all competitions so far.

Fofana joined Milan from Monaco for €26M in 2024 after a long back-and-forth, quickly becoming a pillar. He has racked up 82 appearances at San Siro. He has outperformed Samuele Ricci and Ardon Jashari, while they have never had the chance to try Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Adrien Rabiot together because of their respective injuries. He’d be very expendable if they secured Leon Goretzka, but that’s easier said than done. He complements their other current starters well, given his traits and motor. However, the club is at a crossroads with his contract. They’ll soon have to decide between a sale and an extension.
