First attempt came during the Paolo Maldini era and Zaniolo was at Roma at that point. Later, Ricky Massara also tried to bring him to the San Siro from Galatasaray but he then ended up at Udinese.
The Friulians are expected to sign him permanently at the end of the summer. Milan will then look to sign him, with Allegri still very much keen on the winger.
