Milan Momcilovic is weighing his options between entering the NBA draft and staying in college, noting he could earn more money in college. Despite the financial allure, he expresses a preference for joining the NBA.
Milan Momcilovic has a massive decision in front of him. He's been in Chicago this week for the NBA draft combine, working out in front of potential employers for next season.
While he's exploring the next step, Momcilovic could also spend another season in college, which he realizes would be financially beneficial.
âItâs really cool to hear some of those numbers, and itâs tempting,â Momcilovic said at the NBA draft combine. âI could get more money in college. Thatâs the bottom line."
"But I'd rather go to the NBA," Momcilovic said as he finished his train of thought.
A lot of programs are going to be waiting with bated breath for a final decision in the next two weeks. Momcilovic also entered the transfer portal and would serve as a high-impact addition to any team with national title aspirations.
Momcilovic has until May 27 to withdraw his name from the draft while still maintaining college eligibility. He averaged 16.9 points per game on over 48 percent shooting from long-range last year with Iowa State.
