— caposa (@Grabaka\_Hitman) April 18, 2026 In the main event of Shoot Brasil 136 in Rio de Janeiro, Andre completely lost his cool and just started rifling elbows into the back of opponent Wendel Almeida’s head. Keep in mind, this was a meaningful fight with a vacant lightweight title on the line. The first few elbows Andre threw weren’t close to being legal, so it’s no surprise that this bout was stopped shortly after with Almeida being awarded the disqualification victory and a shiny belt to take home for his troubles. It’s a shame the evening was capped off by such an anticlimax because there was some hellacious action earlier on the card. As for Ilgas, he just outlasted and outwilled Lucas Tupi to score a hard-earned second-round knockout. There would be no comeback for Fernanda Guersone. Her legs may have held steady, but her consciousness exited the cage a while ago. Messias turned her into a human heavy bag. Sanchez didn’t even need to load that up, flicked it out like one would a jab. The results speak for themselves. Canon Swanson aimed lower, but was no less effective, crushing Quintin Richards’ insides with a body kick a little over two minutes into Round 1. Daniel Wadieh beautifully ducked an incoming punch coming out of a clinch and returned fire with a head kick that left Alex Junior Kamgang slumped against the fence. Lastly, a quick update from last week’s Missed Fists, in which I wrote about Elismar Lima seemingly getting screwed by an overenthusiastic referee. After his bout was stopped due to submission, Lima immediately protested the stoppage and apparently the promotion listened as the bout has been overturned to a no-contest due to referee error, according to Sherdog.com’s Jay Pettry. So, all’s well that ends well.
