Mississippi State baseball broke out for a 13-run inning against Texas A&M on May 14.
At Blue Bell Park in College Station, Texas, the No. 12 Bulldogs (38-14, 15-12 SEC) were down 2-0 entering the third inning, but scored 13 runs on 12 hits to take a 13-2 lead over the No. 10 Aggies (37-12, 16-10).
It was the most runs scored in an inning during league play in the SEC this season, according to the ESPN broadcast.
Jacob Parker had five RBIs, including a three-run home run to make it 7-2. Noah Sullivan, Kevin Milewski, Vytas Valincius, Ace Reese and Gehrig Frei also knocked in runs for the Bulldogs in the inning.

The Aggies went through four different pitchers in the inning. After starter Ethan Darden was pulled, Gavin Lyons and Grant Cunningham each gave up five runs before Hunter Bond finally earned the third out.
College baseball's run-rule dictates that a game is called after seven innings if a team is ahead by 10 or more runs. Mississsippi State was run-ruled 13-2 in their last game against Auburn on May 9.
