“Have I received signals from the hierarchy? I will finish the season as I think I should, with my vision. I am keeping my focus on my squad with my staff. All questions about my future can be asked afterwards. I am focused on working. I am not looking too far ahead. There is still a match to play. The most important thing is to have a vision and to stick to it. In football, it is often the structure that is put in place that makes the difference. I remain convinced that we can use a lot of things from this season in order to progress. I hope to be part of a long-term project,” began the Belgian, who succeeded Adi Hutter back in October.
He added, “Do I want to stay? Of course! I’m surprised by the question. I have really enjoyed this season. We need to build in order to make something solid.”
