Monster Jam driver Camden Murphy will be in the truck for the event. Murphy, known as "Monster Jam Cam," has driven Monster Jam trucks since 2017.
"I am so pumped and honored to have the opportunity to break the world record of speed in a Monster Jam truck here coming up," Murphy said in a promotional video. "It is going to be so cool, so fitting for me with my racing background. So, let's go break that record."
Joe Sylvester holds the world record speed in a monster truck at 101.84 mph. Sylvester accomplished this Aug. 6, 2022, in Norwalk, Ohio.
The exact timing of the record-breaking attempt (and number of attempts) has not yet been revealed. Tickets for the event and Indy 500 qualifying can be purchased here.
