Buffalo Sabres achieve first playoff victory in 15 years, defeating the Bruins 4-3!
Fans have named several Miami Dolphins players as the most overrated in team history, including Tua Tagovailoa, Zach Thomas, and Dion Jordan. Reasons cited include high salaries, underperformance, and inflated reputations.
Tua Tagovailoa (QB): high salary expectations, poor performance in cold weather/prime time, & a perceived reliance on the teamās offensive system. He sucks.
Byron Jones (CB): big pisser of ā22 as overpaid for his production, though some considered him serviceable. I did not. He sucked. **StanleyDoyle1** bravely selected a Dolphins legend and easily one of the most beloved players to ever play in South Florida. I have to go with Zach Thomas here. He was a tackle-stat machine. All good until you saw him getting steamrolled by bigger backs. He benefitted from having Bowens clog up or impede running lanes, and sitting in the middle of a very talented group of players. He wasnāt a bad player ā he was a good player. But he was a better story than a player, and undeserving of the acclaim surrounding him **davidson11** went with a tight end that spent three years in Miami between his stints with the and the . Keith Jackson **sdphinsfan** went with the 5th round linebacker who played in Miami for 5 seasons before playing for 4 other teams. Bryan Cox. **heatforlife** points out the wideout who never lived up to his first-round selection despite some flashes here and there before moving on. tedd ginn jr and his family.especially baby sis **MIAMI235** chose to roll with a trio of wideouts. Irving Fryar, David Boston.
Fans have identified players like Tua Tagovailoa, Zach Thomas, and Dion Jordan as the most overrated Miami Dolphins players.
Fans cite Tua Tagovailoa's high salary expectations, poor performance in cold weather, and reliance on the team's offensive system as reasons for his overrated status.
Some fans believe Zach Thomas benefitted from a strong supporting cast and was more of a good story than a top-tier player, leading to his overrated perception.
Dion Jordan is criticized for being a first-round bust, with fans noting his mediocre college production and failure to meet the expectations set for him.

Folarin Balogun is in top form, scoring in eight consecutive Ligue 1 matches and netting 10 goals in his last 10 games for Monaco. With the World Cup approaching, he is solidifying his position as the U.S. men's national team's key striker.

Take your pick. **coach k 13** chose the first round bust that just could not seem to get off the juice. I guess Dion Jordan has to top the list!!!! **PA phinphan** says, what about another diva of a wideout? On offense I would probably say Brandon Marshall. In Miami, he definitely had a severe case of ādropitisā. So much for him helping Chad Henne become a better QB. A close second for me is Sammie Smith. His problem was āfumblitisā. He had more fumbles than TDs in Miami.
On the other side of the ball is a little tougher for me. I was never a real fan of Terrell Buckley. For all his good plays he had way more plays where he got toasted. But number 1 would have to beĀ Ndamukong Suh. He never seemed to be thrilled about playing in Miami. But he sure didnāt mind taking their money. Can you say overpaid!?! **CluelessNFLfan** points out that the first-round bust was sold to the fans as the next Hall of Fame pass rusher in the mold of JT. Dion Jordan. His college production was mediocre at best. Yet so-called pundits labeled him the next Jason Taylor and the best defensive player of that draft. **USMCFinzFreak** reminds us of Sabanās stupid choice. Daunte Culpepper, when we couldāve had Drew Brees. **Lefty5150** is another who points to the very overpaid QB. Tua ātoo easy to sackā Tagovailoa **TheRoo1** reminds us of the player that the team traded for, only to waive him three days later. Isiah Wilson. OT 2020. Worst trade ever for Miami. **FlyerFinFan** says it just hurts too much to even think about. I canāt handle the pain so Iāll decline. **MiamiItaliano** chose a linebacker he believes sells himself as a better player than he actually was. Channing Crowder. Canāt listen to him on podcasts because he acts like he made a difference on the Dolphins. He got beat in coverage and ran over so many times that I wanted to rent a plane to fly over the stadium with a banner that read GET RID OF CROWDER **ShulaSunglasses** remembers a bagel-loving linebacker and a couple of first-round busts at wideout. For my old man, I will throw out Offerdahl. I remember the torrent of foul words used to describe those 80ās defenses. He later remarked heād rather eat cardboard than one of his explicative bagels.
For me, I will put Yatil Green and Ted Ginn Jr out there once again. The generational trauma the Dolphins have inflicted on my family is reparation worthy. Of my three children, only one is a Dolphin fan. This is due to having amazing ex-wives. I only scewed up one. Good Morning brethren of the Aqua and Orange. Thatās our random fifteen comments for this evening. When I posted this question, I had a few guys in mind, and some of you reminded me of just how many horrible decisions this team has made on players over the last few decades. As FlyerFinFan pointed out, trying to remember all of these bad decisions is a bit trauma-inducing for some of us long-time fans. As always, thank you to each of you who stopped in and participated in our Phinsider Question Of The Day.
