Nominations are open for the IndyStar Sports Mom of the Year award until May 1. Submit a mother's name and a reason for her recognition via email to Kyle Neddenriep.

Here is your chance to show her some appreciation. Submit the mother’s name and an explanation of why she is worthy of being named “Sports Mom of the Year” by 9 p.m. on May 1. We will feature her – and other mothers – on Mother’s Day, which is May 10 (if you need a reminder).
