Itâs another week of the Recruiting Roundup.
The calendar has now turned to April, and teams are hosting many recruits for Junior Days and other unofficial visits. There are also a ton of official visits being scheduled for June, so expect that to be a huge recruiting month for all teams, including those in the Mountain West and Pac-12.
Many teams are wrapping up spring practices, with visitors in town to watch the games. There were lots of new offers handed out over the past week, 61 to be exact, with Colorado State leading the charge with 14 all on its own. The Rams were one of fifteen teams on our list that handed out at least one offer. Then, there were four new commitments, belonging to Air Force, Fresno State, NIU, and Washington State.

Starting today and going through mid-April, we are in a quiet period. On-campus contact is permitted, while off-campus contact is limited to text, calls, and DMs.
Next College Student Athlete says:
The NCAA defines the quiet period as a time when âa college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents off the college campus and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high school.â To break it down, the NCAA Quiet Period is a time you can talk to college coaches in-person on their college campus. However, the coach is not allowed to watch athletes compete in-person, visit their school, talk to them at their homeâor talk to them anywhere outside of the college campus. Coaches can still text, call, email or direct message coaches during this time.
A total of 61 new offers were made in the latest recruiting roundup.
Colorado State issued the most offers, with a total of 14.
The teams that received commitments are Air Force, Fresno State, NIU, and Washington State.
Junior Days are significant as they allow teams to host recruits for unofficial visits, helping to build relationships and evaluate potential players.

OL Carsten Campbell (Fresno State)
âThe reason I committed to Fresno State was that Iâm a big believer in Coach Entz. He is a proven winner, and Coach Ferrentz has developed and worked with many NFL players. Coach Entz has been recruiting me since early on and was one of my first offers. Fresno State also feels like home to me.â
LB Josiah Rand (Washington State)
Some of the reasons why I committed to WAZZU after the spring game are the knowledge of the coaching staff. Also, Coach Bray taught me a lot about how they do things on the defensive side. Also, I love how he broke everything down for his athletes to make a play, and at the spring game, thatâs what I saw. And the environment is amazing, the fans here are very supportive and welcoming. Lastly, I would say out of all the schools I visited this spring, Washington State is the one that felt like home, and I can see myself playing there with their amazing coaching staff! Go Cougs!!!â
