Itâs another week of the Recruiting Roundup.
As we get into May, official visits will be occurring by the end of the month and lasting into June. Teams are continuing to load up on June OVs, which will make for a huge recrutiing month. Stay tuned for that.
For this week, teams were busy in this evaluation period. Three teams had double-digit offers, paced by Colorado Stateâs 19 and Hawaiiâs 18. Overall, 15 different teams handed out at least one offer. Commitment-wise, things were just as busy. Nine new players announced pledges to five different teams. NIU and NDSU each had three new commits, as both programs continue to have productive springs. North Dakota State, specifically, is working hard to have the most/all of their 2027 class wrapped up by the summer dead period.
Though the Huskies and Bison both had strong weeks, the Bison will be the ones on the cover photo this time around.

The NCAA defines the quiet period as a time when âa college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents off the college campus and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high school.â To break it down, the NCAA Quiet Period is a time you can talk to college coaches in-person on their college campus. However, the coach is not allowed to watch athletes compete in-person, visit their school, talk to them at their homeâor talk to them anywhere outside of the college campus. Coaches can still text, call, email or direct message coaches during this time.

âI love the culture and wanted to be around people who were going to make me better.â
WR Alonzo Green (Oregon State)
âThe biggest reason was Coach Shep, the way he spoke about how he was going to change the program around was very intriguing. He spoke on not letting the players and staff do as they please, and how him letting it go is how the program will fall and it would be on him. That made me know I wanted to put my full effort and trust into Coach Shep. As soon as I stepped on the field I felt at home and I could instantly imagine myself on a Saturday night suiting up an playing in Reser Stadium with the crowd roaring when I got interceptions and made big hits and plays. So I knew I was home.â
