FC Nantes defender Tylel Tati (18) has won the Golden Kid Pro 2026 award this Monday, an accolade given to the best player to have made his professional debut this season, ahead of Paris Saint-Germainâs Quentin Ndjantou (18), Olympique Lyonnaisâ RĂ©mi Himbert (18), Toulouse FCâs Alexis Vossah (18) and Le Havreâs Stephan Zagadou (17). He thus succeeds former Stade Rennais player Kader MeĂŻtĂ© (18).
With 21 appearances, all as a starter, in the colours of FC Nantes this season, Tati has established himself at the heart of Les Canarisâ defence. However, having been injured since mid-April, the Champigny-sur-Marne native was forced to end his season prematurely, finding himself powerless as his teammates fought a losing battle to avoid relegation to Ligue 2.
Tylel Tati is an 18-year-old defender for FC Nantes who won the Golden Kid 2026 award for being the best player to debut professionally this season.
Other nominees included Quentin Ndjantou from PSG, Rémi Himbert from Olympique Lyonnais, Alexis Vossah from Toulouse FC, and Stephan Zagadou from Le Havre.
Tylel Tati's injury since mid-April forced him to end his season early, impacting his team's efforts to avoid relegation to Ligue 2.

Now in its second year, the Golden Kids awards ceremony â which GFFN attended from the Pan Piper in Paris â once again honoured and recognised the best French U17 and U19 players. In total, no fewer than 43 athletes were nominated across eight different categories and judged by a panel comprising foreign professional scouts, journalists and sporting directors.
Among the other winners were several PSG players, including Aymen Assab (17), named best player in the U19 national league, David Boly (17), best overage player in the U19 national league, and Tanté Diakité (17), winner of the Golden Kid Pro 2026 award.
VitĂłria SCâs Oumar Camara (18) for his part has been voted Golden Kid Pro International 2026. In the under-17 category, Amiens SCâs Aly TraorĂ© (17) and ESTAC Troyesâ Yanis Kharbouch (16) respectively won the Golden Kid U17 and Golden Kid Avenir U17 awards. Finally, Lyonâs Ajdin Muninovic (17) received the Goal of the Season award.
