Michigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic has been placed on 'breakout watch' for the upcoming season by a national college football account. Expectations are high for his sophomore year following a promising performance last season.
One national popular college football social media account has put the Spartans new quarterback on "breakout watch" for the upcoming season.
NCAAF Nation posted earlier this week that Michigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic is on "breakout watch" with expectations of a big sophomore season ahead. The popular account stated they loved the progression Milivojevic made last season, and "2026 should be a big breakout season for him."
You can see the full post from NCAAF Nation below:
Milivojevic appeared in nine games this past season, throwing for 1,267 yards and 10 touchdowns compared to only three interceptions. Additionally, he ran for 59 non-sack rushing yards and one score.
Milivojevic is entering his first season as the known full-time starter, with his role primarily being a backup to Aidan Chiles the previous two seasons. But after taking over for Chiles late last season, it did seem like he showed the potential to be a high-level starter in the Big Ten. I'm in line with NCAAF Nation that we could (and maybe even should) see a breakout season from Milivojevic this upcoming fall.
