The first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs has been highly competitive as six of the eight quarterfinals series have gone at least six games. There are three Game 6s on tap for Friday night, with the Pistons at Magic, the Cavs at Raptors, and the Lakers at Rockets. Below, we’ll take a betting glance at all three showdowns.
Detroit Pistons at Orlando Magic
Start time/TV: 7 p.m ET, Prime Video
Series: Magic lead 3-2
The Magic had no answers for Cade Cunningham in Game 5 Wednesday, as Cunningham set a Pistons franchise playoff record with 45 points, punctuated by a step-back jumper with 32 seconds left that iced the game. Detroit beat Orlando 116-109 to stave off elimination.
For Cunningham and the Pistons to force a Game 7, they will have to do something they have not yet done this series: win in the Magic Kingdom.

The Magic won Game 3 at Kia Center, 113-105, and Game 4 in their home digs, 94-88.
The Pistons are -3 road favorites at Fanatics Sportsbook for Game 6. Part of the reasoning for Detroit being favored may be due to the uncertainty surrounding Magic starting forward Franz Wagner. Wagner left Game 4 with a calf strain and did not play in Game 5 due to the injury.
The Magic are tied with San Antonio for having the best against the spread record in the 2026 NBA Playoffs thus far. Orlando is 4-1 ATS, while Detroit is 1-4.
The Over/Under for Game 6 is set at 211.0. So far in the series, two games have gone Over and three have gone Under.
Cunningham’s points Over/Under at Fanatics for Game 6 is 28.5, with juice on the Over. Paolo Banchero’s points Over/Under is 22.5.
Wagner is listed for player props at Fanatics despite the injury status. His points O/U is 15.5.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Toronto Raptors
Start time/TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, Prime Video
Series: Cavs lead 3-2
The home team has won every game in this series thus far. Despite that trend, the Cavaliers are -4 favorites at Fanatics for Friday night’s Game 6 in Toronto.
Momentum is back in Cleveland’s favor as the Raptors blew a 12-point second half lead in Game 5. The Cavs prevailed, 125-120.
Adding injury to insult, Brandon Ingram (heel) and Scottie Barnes (quad) are both banged up for the Raptors. Barnes said he would play in Game 6 but Ingram’s status is still up in the air.
The Raptors are 3-2 against the spread so far in the playoffs with the Cavs at 2-3 ATS.
The Over has hit three times so far in this series, with the Under hitting twice.
Donovan Mitchell’s points O/U for Friday is 26.5, while RJ Barrett’s points O/U is 21.5.
LA Lakers at Houston Rockets
Start time/TV: 9:30 p.m. ET, Prime Video
Series: Lakers lead 3-2
Anxiety is rising in La-La Land as the Lakers have lost two straight games to the Rockets after jumping out to a 3-0 series lead.
Houston has gotten the job done these past two games with outstanding defensive efforts, as it held the Lakers to under 100 points in both contests.
Austin Reaves looked rusty in his return from injury, shooting just 4-of-16 from the floor in Game 5.
The Rockets are -4 favorites for Game 6 at Fanatics, despite the likelihood that they will once again be without Kevin Durant (ankle).
Houston is 2-3 against the spread so far in this series, while the Lakers are 3-2 ATS. The Lakers and Rockets have gone Over the total two times so far in this series, and have gone Under three times.
Both LeBron James and Reaves have points O/Us of 22.5 for Friday night. Alperen Sengun has a points O/U of 20.5 for Game 6.
