NBC Sports’ 2026 Notre Dame football schedule features Miami Hurricanes, Lambeau Field

Notre Dame’s 2026 football schedule on NBC and Peacock is here, highlighted by a trip to Lambeau Field to play Wisconsin, a rivalry renewed with Michigan State and one of the most crucial games of the season against Miami.

In addition, the slate includes home games against Rice, Stanford, Boston College and SMU. All games with be available on both NBC and Peacock.

The Fighting Irish, led by sixth-year head coach Marcus Freeman and quarterback CJ Carr, enter 2026 with something to prove. After losing its first two games of 2025, Notre Dame won its final 10 contests but just missed out on the College Football Playoff.

All the action kicks off on Sun., Sept. 6, when the Fighting Irish play the Badgers in Notre Dame’s first-ever game at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. The historic venue is named for Curly Lambeau, a former Notre Dame player and founder of the Packers who is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The game will serve as Notre Dame’s 2026 edition of the Shamrock Series.

Notre Dame will follow that up with consecutive home games at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., against Rice (Sat., Sept. 12) and Michigan State (Sat., Sept. 19). The matchup against the Spartans reignites one of college football’s oldest rivalries; Notre Dame and Michigan State first played in 1897 and played all but two seasons between 1959 and 2013. The Fighting Irish hold a 49-29-1 edge in the all-time series and have held the Megaphone Trophy since the last matchup in 2017.
