Three of the more decorated players in Dallas Cowboys history — two with Hall of Fame jackets, a combined nine Super Bowl rings and universal respect earned from their peers — gathered recently to film a commercial for Choctaw Casino and Resorts. It's part of the Where the Players Play campaign, which entices people to head to the casino and have a weekend of fun or, maybe, hang out for the day. As part of the commercial, Smith, Woodson and Aikman leave their North Texas homes for a getaway. During the shoot, they film a scene where they meet a woman who gives them a pep talk about having fun. In reality, the three legendary players don’t need a pep talk to have fun together because of the close relationship built while playing for the Cowboys. "It's fun," Woodson said. "Troy is going to keep it business-like, always. He wants to get in and out and cut out all the fat in the deal. Emmitt is going to be a joy. Emmitt's personality is a lot like my personality; we're kind of free-flowing. Yeah, we want to get in and out as well but we're going to make it fun." It seems like an easy call to bring this trio of players together, given their easy-going personalities and how playing for a brand such as the Cowboys extends beyond their playing days. "Heck yeah, yes, anytime we can get together at this stage in our lives, yeah it's a good time," Smith said. "I try to have fun at these commercial shoots anyway takes [away] the monotony of shooting a commercial, play [around] and enjoy the moment. This is the only time we get to act out of character in a lot of ways." "It gives us a chance to get together, run into both of them a little bit. It's nice when we do these and they always turn out really well.
