The Los Angeles Rams drafted wide receiver CJ Daniels in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL draft last week from the Miami Hurricanes.

Daniels joins a wide receiver room that features some of the best receivers in the league, with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

The former Hurricane also joins a team that has aspirations of getting back to the Super Bowl after falling short to the eventual Super Bowl champions the past two seasons.

For Daniels, however, playing alongside veteran wide receiver Davante Adams might be the most exciting part about being selected by Los Angeles.

"Davante is someone that I've always looked up to, he's a guy that I've always modeled my game after, my releases, how he plays the game of football," Daniels declared.

The latest Ram also admitted to watching plenty of Puka Nacua tape.

"I saw he was a fifth-round draft pick. I saw everything he was capable of doing, whether it was in the run game or pass game. He's just a very dynamic player," Daniels added.

Bringing in Daniels makes the battle for WR3 for Los Angeles interesting, as he will be competing with the likes of and Konata Mupfield.
