The session provided Tyson an opportunity to showcase his skills after a series of injuries had limited his participation in earlier pre-draft events, including the NFL Scouting Combine and his school's formal pro day.

Standing just over 6-foot-2 and weighing 203 pounds, Tyson possesses the size, athleticism, and ball skills that could translate well at the next level. He demonstrated twitchy movement, reliable hands, and strong ability after the catch during the workout, which drew significant attention from around the league.

Tyson's path to this point has included setbacks, notably a major knee injury in 2022 that sidelined him for the entire 2023 season, a broken clavicle in 2024, and a hamstring issue that cost him games in 2025. Now fully healthy and cleared, he aimed to solidify his standing as a potential first-round talent in a deep wide receiver class.

While some speculation has linked the Giants to Tyson as high as No. 5 overall, that pick may prove ambitious given the talent available at the top of the board. A trade-down scenario, however, could position New York comfortably within range to select the wideout, who would complement existing pieces in the passing game under the new coaching staff.
