The first round is over, but plenty of talent remains in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Day 2 begins Friday night with the San Francisco 49ers owning the first selection of Round 2. It was originally the New York Jets' pick, yet they decided to trade back into the first round last night to acquire Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. at No. 30.
If the 49ers are in the market for a cornerback, they're in luck. Tennessee's Jermod McCoy and Colton Hood, in addition to Clemson's Avieon Terrell, are all fringe first-round talents who remain available. Other top prospects still up for grabs include Washington receiver Denzel Boston, Texas A&M EDGE Cashius Howell and Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.
As for the quarterbacks, Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, Miami's Carson Beck and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier are still on the board. In Pavia's case, he may have wait until Day 3 to hear his name get called.
